One day I went to Creeds to go to lunch with her,she had made some beautiful cuffs and she gave me a few blanks to bead on. Finally I have finished my first one.
I have to admit it has been a challenge. I enjoyed it. At the same time I wanted to pull my hair out at times. I hope I learned from this one and that the next ones won't be so much of a challenge. There sure is a lot to learn about constructing a cuff for sure.
Anyway, here is is my cuff.

Well, I think your first try is a smashing success, Sunni! Love the colors and stones you used . . .

It's beautiful Sunni !
I have just started my first one, with a green pakua shell, I hope it looks as nice as yours.
Gorgeous!
Colors, beadwork, focus piece, all work so well together.
You should be mighty proud!
Well done, Sunni. It always good for the soul when you manage to complete something to your satisfaction.
I am catching on the BJP blogs and saw your halloween pics, they were great and I love the added detail of glasses.
I haven't made a cuff yet but they do seem more involved especially the wider they get. This looks very nice. Wonder how your next one will look! Bet you'll get oohed and aahed over.
Wow Sunni, this is stunning! I've always wanted to try making a beaded cuff. I think you did an amazing job on your first try.

This is beautiful Sunni! Can't believe it's your first one. Lovely colors too!
That's great! My favorite colors and your good work.
What surface did you use?
Did you put it into/onto somekind of a loom to tighten it while working on it?
Maybe you remember my thoughts on that so I'm curious.
What kind of beads are those big ones? They almost look like painted fabric.
